International Society for Vehicle Preservation

Established in 1983, the International Society for Vehicle Preservation was created to collect, preserve, and share information related to the origin, development and progress of self- propelled vehicles.

The importance of these vehicles to our freedom of movement and lifestyle, and the influence of the industry on jobs from manufacturing to sales to fuel stations, cannot be understated.

IAMC 1998 Lifetime Achievement Acceptance Speech Video

The late David E. Davis, Jr. was delighted to be chosen to receive the first IAMC Lifetime Award. Due to a head cold, and his doctor's insistence that he not fly, Mr. Davis made this video speech. Brock Yates was on hand to personally accept the physical award for his friend.

From its inception, David E. Davis Jr. was a strong supporter of IAMC. His words as to the importance of the total IAMC program remain true today.
